Please also detail if any other groups used the lodge while you were here and which bunkrooms they were in Lodge Closing Procedures Do not leave any part of the lodge open unless the next group has arrived Lodge Heating (if required) Follow the directions to turn thermostat off – note: thermostat has pre-set safety temperature to so pipes don’t freeze. Turn off hydronic heaters in bunkrooms and communal areas ENSURE bathroom and ensuite heaters are left on. Boiler will come on automatically if necessary to ensure pipes don’t freeze. * General Turn off all switches – lights, electric blankets, power points * Close all windows * Close blinds * Check for left items under bunks and in cupboards, and on shelves * Ensure all rooms vacuumed and left tidy, remove any rubbish * Close all bunkroom doors * Bathrooms/Ensuites Clean showers and mop floors * Remove all rubbish * Leave heaters on (valves open) to ensure pipes do not freeze if lodge gets below safety temperature. * Sunroom Turn off all switches, lights, power points * Close windows and blinds, check for left items and close door * Kitchen Turn off fridges, remove food, prop doors ajar (Except Lodge Fridge at west end (Moose end) of kitchen, with useable supplies inside) * Turn off all other appliances, microwaves etc. * Drain, clean and turn Dishwasher off, and leave door slightly open (See duty 11) Remove all rubbish to Garbage Hut * Wash and dry tea towels (see duty 21) * Lounge/Dining Mop floor, leave chairs on tables * Ensure carpet is clean and vacuumed * Turn off boiling water heater Turn off all wall fan heaters Drain, clean and turn Glass Dishwasher off, and leave door slightly open (See duty 11) Turn off all switches and appliances (bar fridge, coffee bar fridge, coffee machine, glasswasher, ice maker) but leave lodge laptop powerpoint on. * Check for left items * Basement BBQ gas valve in boiler room no action required, it is on Remove all rubbish * Leave Left freezer ON, right freezer should be off and door propped open * Close all doors and switch off all lights * BBQ Ensure BBQ has been cleaned if used Turn off BBQ gas valve next to BBQ ENSURE ALL FIRE ESCAPE AND EXIT DOORS ARE CLOSED * Foyer Ensure desk is tidy and all rubbish is taken to Garbage Hut * Turn off foyer lights, close glass door * Lock front entry door (keyhole in doorknob) and check that the door knob will NOT open the door. * Return key to key safe outside boot room door * If you are human, leave this field blank.
